However, despite the latest leaks surrounding the hyped title, there is still a delay in its development from Skydance New Media and its publisher, Plaion, who have since kept the game under wraps.

An X account called Marvel 1943 Rise of Hydra Fansite has released a series of new gameplay videos and screenshots of the upcoming game from Skydance New Media and Plaion. The new gameplay video reveals a short but action-packed footage of the Wakandan protector and leader, the Black Panther, jumping over tables and bars and eliminating enemies.
The video only runs for 15 seconds, but it gives a glimpse of what the action would be like in the actual game, one that significantly highlights the top-notch acrobatic and combat skills of the Black Panther.

According to GameRant, this latest leak is the first to show off actual game footage of "Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra" as, while there had been trailer releases before, they all focused on cinematics.
Should this leak be legitimate, the publication noted that it could potentially be showing off player-controlled action from the game, centering on a third-person RPG experience.

According to MP1st, the leaked images were allegedly shared by a member of the development team, further claiming that the latest leak is legitimate and is from "Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra." That being said, these have not been confirmed by the game's developer.
The game would feature Steve Rogers as Captain America during World War II, Azzuri as the Black Panther, Wakandan spy Nanali, and the Howling Commandos' Gabriel Jones as the four main characters users could switch to.
"Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra" saw multiple delays to its development in the last four years, and their previously confirmed holiday 2025 release date has been bumped to sometime in 2026.
