'Arc Raiders' Server Issues Prompt Gear Recovery as Patch 1.19.0 Brings Bug Fixes, New Customization Options

Affected players will recover the lost items in the next few days, according to Embark.

Players exploring the dangerous world of "Arc Raiders" recently encountered major server issues that disrupted gameplay across multiple raids. Instead of smooth combat and exploration on Stella Montis, many players experienced severe rubberbanding, making movement unpredictable and firefights difficult to manage.

The frustration escalated when some players lost their gear even after successfully extracting from raids. In an extraction shooter where survival and escape are the ultimate goals, losing valuable equipment despite completing a run sparked significant backlash from the community.

Embark Confirms Item Recovery for Affected Players

Developer Embark Studios acknowledged the problem and confirmed that it is reviewing reports from players affected by the outage.

According to the studio, users who lost items due to the server disruption may receive their gear back over the coming days. While compensation is not usually offered for isolated technical issues, Embark said the scale of the outage justified taking additional steps to help restore lost equipment.

Patch 1.19.0 Adds New Hairstyles and Cosmetics

Alongside the ongoing server fixes, Patch 1.19.0 introduces several cosmetic updates. Players can now visit the character customization menu, often referred to as the barbershop, to try out two new hairstyles.

The update also adds the Devotee outfit, a cosmetic set available through the in-game store. The outfit features ropes and pipes wrapped across the armor, giving it a rugged design that fits the game's post-apocalyptic setting.

Bug Fixes Improve Gameplay Stability

According to PC Gamer, Patch 1.19.0 also focuses on stability and gameplay improvements. Developers fixed incorrect sell values that appeared for certain weapon modifications and corrected a bug where some puddles failed to freeze properly.

Another fix addresses a zipline exploit at Blue Gate, preventing players from abusing the mechanic and helping maintain fair gameplay across raids.

"Arc Raiders" suffered a lot of issues lately. The most recent and controversial is the hotfix release of Discord integration.

Per our previous report, the studio immediately rolled out a solution to address a privacy problem. This prompted most players to become more mindful about what they shared on third-party apps.
