To celebrate Saturday Night Live's 40th Anniversary, NBC has launched a free SNL app that includes more than 300 hours of comedy sketches.

Those 300 hours of laughs come from more than 5,500 sketches taken from the show's nearly 800 episode history. If you still aren't satisfied, it also features exclusive never-before-seen content and will be frequently updated to include the show's latest sketches.

Did we mention it's free? The app is available now for iOS devices, with an Anrdoid version of the app on the way. The app also comes with an SNL "emoji" keyboard featuring 60 icons taken from some of the show's most famous sketches. Now your lifelong dream of sending friends a "dick in a box" emoji can finally be realized.

You can browse all the app's content by searching for sketches by season, episode, host and cast members, making finding your favorite skits simple. The app also customizes your experience based on what videos you watch and will suggest which sketches you might want to check out next.

It's a big win for SNL fans, who now have the show's entire history at their fingertips. Entertainment Weekly even says the cast and producers of the show will be using the app for research when preparing new sketches. While you are there you can also check out EW's first-look at the app, which is a good overview of all features you'll be getting should you choose to download it.

It's an app that serves not only an entertainment purpose but also as a digital archive. SNL's storied history and legacy have never been easier to access, and that's a huge score for comedy lovers everywhere.
