Even though they live the glamorous life, celebrities do many everyday tasks that us normal folks do. They FaceTime their family when away (even though they're not in college, but on set for a film), send tweets (even though these sometimes turn out to be a Twitter rant or celeb beef) and even send cute emojis when texting (because how could they say Happy Valentine's Day without the kiss and smiley face with heart eyes?).

And now, there's an SNL app for that.

We recently found out that Saturday Night Live featured emojis on its first mobile app that was released Feb. 12. Some of the new additions to our favorite keyboard include a Conehead, Stefon, a cowbell and even a gift with a hole in it to celebrate Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg's iconic digital short.

Even though we now can use SNL emojis, we have some ideas in mind regarding some creative emojis we wished were included on our keyboards. During the red carpet for SNL's 40th anniversary special, former and current cast members as well as celebrity guests revealed their emoji wish list—and the responses are hilariously creative.

SNL cast member Keenan Thompson jokingly asked Mashable if there was a toilet emoji so he could flush away bad ideas. Yeah, Thompson, there actually is a toilet emoji. However, which one is really on his wish list? Thompson is all about a weed emoji—might as well, since alcohol and cigarette emojis already exist.

Former cast member Horatio Sanz wondered why the gun emoji is located near the Mexican emoji, while Gilbert Gottfried revealed he doesn't send emojis and can "barely work a microwave."

American Horror Story's Gabourey Sidibe revealed she would like a middle finger emoji. "I feel like that's obvious and it's missing," she said.

Some interesting ideas included a top hat tipping another top hat, a fake happy face, and Sarah Palin's nachos with guacamole and sour cream idea.

Luckily for us, the Unicode Consortium, which created the official emoji collection, will be launching more emojis in its midyear update and will feature the highly requested taco emoji.

Even though they're a huge part of our modern communication, some celebs admitted they didn't use emojis and some, shockingly, didn't even know what they are. At least Palin brings enough excitement over the whole emoji talk for the entire red carpet. Check out Mashable's video below.
