Evolve has been in the wild for more than a week now, and that has given developer Turtle Rock Studios time to dive deep into some of the game's more interesting statistics.

The game's four hunters vs. one massive monster gameplay seems to have struck a chord with players. Gamers played 5,989,905 matches in the game's first week on sale. While that's impressive on its own, a number even more interesting is the amount of time players spent watching the game.

According to publisher 2K Games, 133,707,700 minutes of the game were watched on Twitch, an increasingly important platform that game makers can no longer ignore. Crafting a game that is highly streamable and entertaining to watch others play is a serious consideration for studios today, and it looks like Evolve captured that audience well.

The infographic also attempts to solve once and for all, which side is superior -- man or monster?

As it turns out, they are closely matched. Evolve's monsters win 51.9 percent of the time, compared to the team hunter's win rate of 48.1.

Just don't let the monster evolve to level three. While hunters have the definite advantage early in a match (monster win rates at level one are only 11.2 percent), if the monster continues to escape and can evolve to level three there is almost no stopping it. Level three monsters hold a 76.7 win rate.

Of the game's terrifying beasts, which do players play most often? So far the Goliath reigns as king, though that isn't surprising. Goliath is the first monster players have the opportunity to learn. Though the monster play-rate statistics are only among higher level players who have all three of the game's monsters unlocked, pure familiarity is likely the reason behind Goliath's 37 percent play rate. Behind it at 33 percent is the Wraith, followed by the Kraken with a play-rate of 30 percent.

Will the hunters surpass monsters in win rate percentage as team's fine tune their strategies? Will the Wraith, who is considered overly powerful by some, come to dominate on the monster side? No matter what, change is inevitable, and it should be interesting to see how Evolve's community continues to adapt. Be sure to check out the full infographic below.
