The infamous team of villains from DC Comics known as the Suicide Squad is making its way to Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham...but with a more kid-friendly name.

You won't find any references to "suicide" in developer Traveler's Tales latest Lego title. Instead, the DLC simply refers to the team of villains as "The Squad." After all, the Lego video games are built for a younger audience in mind. Parents looking to purchase new DLC for their children's favorite game might be concerned about buying anything with the word "Suicide" splashed across the front.

So what does "The Squad" DLC actually get you? All your favorite Suicide Squad characters for starters. Deathstroke, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, El Diablo, Katana, Deadshot, a new version of Harley Quinn and Suicide Squad handler Amanda Waller are all included, as are a number of new missions and vehicles.

The DLC releases on March 3 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and PS4 and will set you back $2.99 by itself. You can also pick up the Squad DLC as part of Lego Batman 3's $14.99 season pass, for which "The Squad" DLC is the final piece.

If you want some new content but don't want to spend any money for it, Warner Bros. has you covered there as well. A free Heroes and Villainesses pack that includes Vixen, Starfire, Killer Frost, Plastique, Raven and Terra will be released on March 31 for PS4 and PS3 players. Those playing on Xbox and PC will have to wait until April 1. You can check out a trailer for Lego Batman 3's "The Squad" DLC below.
