Comic Cons are a lot of fun, but often they're too far away or cost too much money to actually go to. However, now Wizard World and Cinedigm bring the con to you with CONtv, their exclusive streaming app that gives you access to the cons across the U.S., as well as additional exclusive content.

The CONtv service offers two tiers with both free and VIP accounts.

VIP accounts come in at just under $7 per month and serve up content without ads, along with offering perks at Wizard World Comic Cons, including early entry, discounts and reserved seating for con events.

CONtv promises over 2,500 curated films and TV episodes, targeted at specific fandoms, as well as "all-access" to conventions all over the U.S. However, the company also plans on offering original content, too, including a weekly pop culture series called "Last Fan Standing" starring Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead, Burn Notice).

Also expect "Fight of the Living Dead" later this month, a reality horror series that stages a mock zombie apocalypse that YouTube celebrities must survive. There will also be a series about Green Power Ranger Jason David Frank.

Also, CONtv could evolve, based on user feedback.

"We really want the fans to have a voice on our channel," says Wizard World CEO John Macaluso. "We want to give them a one-stop shopping place to get their movie and television needs fulfilled."

Other exclusive content involves interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of convention guests, such as Campbell, Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead), Manu Bennett (Arrow) and others. CONtv also plans on streaming live panels with Wizard World's Comic Con guests. Other exclusives include live streaming of cosplay events, as well as after-hour events, such as Wizard World's "Drink & Draw" competition.

CONtv is currently available on the web, as well as an app on iTunes and Google Play. More apps, including one for Samsung TVs arrive soon.

"We didn't call it Comic Con TV, because it's much more than just what comic con implies," says Cinedigm CEO Chris McGurk. "It's everything fandom. There are so many different cons out there -WonderCon, Social Con, VideoCon - that we didn't want to have this narrow definition that made people think it was about comic book conventions, because that's not what it is."
