Kudos to Kelly Clarkson for putting fat-shamers in their place. The singer is nonchalant about what the likes of Katie Hopkins may have to say about her size.

Clarkson who recently had a baby girl, was criticized severely by TV personality Hopkins, who wears the notorious mantle of being the most hated woman in Britain, for being fat.

Hopkins who could not stop herself from going on (and on) about Clarkson's weight post seeing her on "The Graham Norton Show" took to Twitter to share the spiteful comments. A lame attempt at fat-shaming the American Idol winner, we say.

"Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all her backing singers? Happily I have a wide-screen," tweeted Hopkins.

The snide remarks from Hopkins didn't stop there as she continued to take to social media to share her not-so-sought-after opinions on Clarkson.

"Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves," she tweeted.

She didn't stop there.

Heat magazine recently asked Clarkson what her opinion on Hopkins' incessant anti-Kelly rants were. The singer was clueless -- she had no idea who Hopkins was (ouch!).

"I don't have a clue what you're talking about. Someone tweeted something about me?" said Clarkson.

Once she was clued in on what Hopkins was writing about the singer, as well as her identity, a bemused Clarkson simply laughed off the incident.

"Oh, and she's tweeted something nasty about me? That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will," said Clarkson.

Amen to that! Clarkson's don't-care attitude is just what fans of the singer can take inspiration from -- to be happy, confident and content in their own skin, no matter what their size. As long as you're happy with yourself, you don't need to seek acceptance from others.
