This year at the movies, a number of titles are about to hit the big screen with some of them being released as a sequel, featuring huge names and characters in the industry. No matter what genre of movie that one prefers, this is the year when the movies are sure to bring the movie buffs back to the theaters where they realize that nothing ever compares to seeing a movie on the big screen.

Here are the titles to watch out for in the theaters.

Avengers: Age of Ultron. Otherwise known as the biggest Super Hero movie of all time, the film Avengers: Age of Ultron is an epic follow-up that is scheduled to hit the theaters on May 1, 2015. Directed by Joss Whedon, the movie features Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, James Spader (Ultron), Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Cobie Smulders (Agent Maria Hill), Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Stellan Skarsgard, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Thomas Kretschmann, Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Chris Evans (Captain America). In the movie, the Avengers team must reassemble in order to defeat Ultron, a terrifying villain that's determined to put the human race into extinction. It is up to the Avengers to stop him from carrying out his destructive plans.

Furious 7. The film is led by the returning cast made up of Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. This new franchise to the successful series is directed by James Wan. Fans would also be delighted to find other well-loved stars to make a comeback in the movie. These include Lucas Black, Elsa Pataky, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez. Written by Chris Morgan, the film is produced by Michael Fottrell, Vin Diesel and Neal H. Moritz and is scheduled to hit the theaters on April 3, 2015.

Mr. Holmes. Directed by Bill Condon, Mr. Holmes is a film that is starred by Ian McKellen, Frances de la Tour, Hiroyuki Sanada, Laura Linney, Hattie Morahan, Roger Allam, Philip Davis, Patrick Kennedy and Milo Parker. Mr. Holmes is a new twist to the most famous detective movie of all time. In the film, Holmes is an aging detective who has one more unsolved case to unlock. It's something that he needs to act on fast before it becomes too late. The film is scheduled to be released on June 19, 2015.

No Escape. The film features Owen Wilson who plays a character that shows his versatility as an actor. It's actually something that he has never played before. Wilson has had various roles in the past that range from playing as a cowboy, a writer and even the perfect boyfriend. In his new film No Escape, Wilson is seen as a protective family man who will do everything just to keep his family safe. Directed by John Erick Dowdle, the film will be released on Sept. 2, 2015.

The Forger. The Forger is a heist thriller that features John Travolta in the lead character. The film is directed by Philip Martin and written by Richard D'Ovidio. Travolta plays the role of Ray Cutter, a former child art prodigy and second generation petty thief who had somehow found a way to be out of prison, allowing himself to spend time with his ailing son. While he was happy to be back home again, he is faced with the price of his freedom which involves a job deal with a crime syndicate. In the deal, Cutter must forge a painting done by Claude Monet, go to the museum to steal the original version of the painting, and then replace it with the forged version. It is scheduled for an April 24th release.
