Verizon will reportedly start selling Google's Nexus 6 this week, as confirmed by multiple sources who say the Motorola-made stock Android phablet will become available from Verizon on March 12.

On Reddit, user Mh1781 posted an image of promotional material with Verizon branding that says the Nexus 6, which was released by Google at the end of October last year, will become available via Verizon's online store and direct fulfillment on March 12 and via Verizon's physical locations beginning on March 19. The image also says the Nexus 6 will support Verizon's Advanced Calling Voice over LTE (VoLTE), a new technology that allows users to make high-definition voice and video calls over LTE.

"Just got off the phone with a rep and she confirmed the dates," says Mh1781. "Also 32 GB midnight blue is all they offer. $250. Shipping is two business days if anyone is curious."

Phandroid also confirmed the post after getting in touch with persons close to Verizon, who say the Nexus 6 will be available for $249 on a two-year contract with Verizon and $699 off contract. Customers who decide to get the smartphone on Verizon Edge can pay $29.16 in monthly installments. Verizon's Nexus 6 will run on Android 5.1 out of the box, according to Phandroid's sources, which means the Android update shouldn't be far behind for other Nexus devices and carriers.

Phandroid's sources also confirmed what Mh1781 said that only the Midnight Blue Nexus 6, and not the white version, will be available. Also, Verizon is throwing in an additional six-month free subscription to Google Play Music, although this isn't the first time a wireless carrier struck such a deal with Google.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena also got hold of other sources who say Verizon is indeed coming out with the Nexus 6 soon. The website says one of its readers, who claims to be a Verizon store employee, sent Phone Arena a photo of what appears to be the packaging for "VZW Merchandising Material." The package itself says "Nexus 6 Launch."

While Phone Arena's source did not provide a specific launch date, it's clear the various reports are pointing to the soon-to-arrive Nexus 6 on Verizon. AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile have been selling Google's phablet for a while now, but Verizon has the biggest number of customers, which means plenty of Android phone enthusiasts are likely to be looking forward to Verizon's Nexus 6 launch.
