Did the first "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer leak on 4Chan? We've been hearing rumors along this line since 2014, and they cropped up again earlier this month. We did some sleuthing to see if there's anything to these reports, and what did we find?

Nothing — we found nothing at all. It doesn't mean the trailer didn't leak. Maybe the kids at Warner Bros. got to it before the world could get a taste. Then again, everything could be a lie, and the trailer was never posted to 4Chan in the first place.

From what we understand, the first trailer shows scenes from "Man of Steel," with Bruce Wayne narrating in the background. He was apparently talking about the changes that happened in the world after the arrival of Superman and the other Kryptonians. Batman isn't yet sure if this alien is a friend or a threat.

According to the latest report, the trailer reveals that Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg are all in the film. Only Aquaman is clad in costume while the others were in their regular-person clothes. This report also states that the trailer features narration from Batman:

"For those who didn't see the BvS trailer on /tv/ last night. YOU MISSED A LOT. The new BvS trailer was a rehash of the last one with Batman narrating the entire time however the new one had some snippets of Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg. Only Aquaman was in costume though, Ezra Miller and Cyborg are just wearing civilian clothes."

So what do we think? We think it's a waste of time. The people putting out these reports don't care about posting the truth, just eye-catching articles that will no doubt bring in a lot of views.

Think about it for a moment. Why are these trailers only leaking on 4Chan and never on websites like YouTube? If they were real, the trailers would have been up on torrent websites long ago, and no amount of crying from Warner Bros. could stop them from spreading across the vastness that is the Internet.

Ladies and gentlemen, don't fall for these lies. Have patience — the first "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer will be out before the end of 2015, so long as there isn't a second delay.
