Not everyone is cut out to become Batman, at least according to this new "Epic How To" video from the guys at Awe me. In fact, becoming Batman is a difficult process.

Fortunately, for us, this video outlines that process and tell us how we can become the caped crusader himself, the hero our city deserves, rather than the one it needs.

Of course, the first thing you need is rich parents. So if you don't have an inheritance to spend on cool gadgets and the best technology, you can hang your cape up now because you'll need at least $680 million just to get what you need to become a crime fighting superhero.

In other words, if you see a crime in process, don't take matters into your own hands unless you really are Batman. As the video states, if such a situation arises, "call the police."

First, please note that the following video is for entertainment purposes only. We do not recommend you really become a vigilante dressed like a bat and fight crime behind the police force's back. Please don't break the law in your quest to become Batman.

Other tips for becoming Batman: get a lightweight costume with a simple design with few colors. Let's face it, if Batman wore yellow, orange and purple with green stripes, the villains would see him coming from miles away. When it comes to the costume, subtle is the way to go. Batman goes with black and gray because it allows him to hide in the shadows.

It probably won't hurt to learn how to fight, too, since Batman does a lot of that. The video recommends learning some martial arts.

Then, of course, there's the utility belt. Keep it simple and stay away from guns, because Batman doesn't use guns: instead he's got the batarang that he can knock bad guys in the head with that then comes back to him. You'll also need a grappling hook if you plan on scaling buildings.

Of course, what's Batman without his Batmobile? If you want one that's street legal (and that even includes a flame thrower), that's going to set you back about $140,000. Then, of course, you'll need money to create a bat cave because you've got to park that sweet ride somewhere safe.

So there you have it, becoming Batman isn't easy, but if you think you've got the spirit (okay, we're lying, because you really need the money), suit up and become the Dark Knight.

On the other hand, it's probably just a good idea and do other good deeds for your city, like donating your time and money to charity. It's far safer and less likely to get you arrested.
