Welcome Guardians. This is an important week in Destiny history. In case you've been living under a rock, the game's second expansion, House of Wolves, released earlier this week, and with it comes plenty of new challenges to overcome, environments to explore and loot to claim.

Xur is all about loot. He is so excited about the new expansion, in fact, that he has left his longtime home of the Tower to travel to the Reef, Destiny's new social hub.

But don't get too excited. Just because Xur is in a fancy new location doesn't mean snagging new House of Wolves gear is going to be easy. He is still selling all the same old exotics you've seen before. One major change, however, is that Xur no longer carries item upgrades. House of Wolves uses a new "ascending" system for upgrading your exotic gear. This will require a certain amount of glimmer, an exotic shard (which you can buy from Xur for seven Strange Coins) and, occasionally, some other materials. And with this system, you don't have to regrind experience points for your favorite weapons. Hooray!

You can also exchange your Strange Coins for Motes of Light with Xur, which will come in handy if you want to snag the exotic helmet engram he is selling this week for 23 Motes of Light.

For Xur's exact location, travel to the Reef. Upon spawning, turn right and go across the bridge. You should see a lit doorway. Go inside to find Xur. Check out his wares below.
