Deal alert to those searching for on sale 4G LTE-capable smartphones! eBay is now selling unlocked GSM models of LG G3 for $340 each without contract. The available phones are AT&T branded but could be used with other GSM carriers, though T-Mobile subscribers may discover that some bands are not working properly. These are brand new ones in its original packaging, not refurbished units.

The LG G3 D850 units are offered in Metallic Black and the seller is willing to deal with customers from various parts of Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. The package includes the battery, wall charger, a quick start guide and the unit of course.

The LG G3 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD-IPS screen display with an astounding 538 pixels per inch. It is named Quad HD because it is four times the resolution of 720p and also the capacitive multi-touchscreen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 Ghz with graphics processor of Adreno 330 and 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It also features a huge 32 GB internal storage that is still expandable up to 128 GB with the micro SD card slot. The phone boots an upgradeable Android 4.4.2 KitKat, with a 13-megapixel rear shooter that has a laser auto focus assist beam, which provides fast focus even in low light settings. The front-facing camera has a 2.1-megapixel shooter with an enhanced selfie mode. The unit also packs a long-lasting removable Li-Ion 3000mAh battery and also supports wireless charging.

The LG G3 comes with LG Knock Code for home screen security, LG Content Lock for file protection and LG Kill Switch that could disable the phone remotely. It also include Smart Notice which is somehow similar to Google Now as it make tips and offer suggestions based on the status of the device such as location and behavior. The program, for example, would prompt the user to respond to missed calls, send alerts for unused apps to free space and make the phone faster. A smart keyboard feature allows the user to maximize the screen with an efficient easy to use keyboard for typing messages.

AT&T still sells the unit at $449 so one could save a lot when purchased at eBay.
