Don't blame Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin for the controversial scenes that have taken place in the last few episodes of the HBO series.

After being bombarded with fan complaints regarding the latest twists and shockers on his blog, Martin is telling everyone to stop commenting about the current Game of Thrones episodes on his site in a new post.

In all fairness, the Martin has not taken part in Season 5 because he has been busy writing the next book in the series, The Winds Of Winter.

In a new blog post, the stressed-out writer says that "life is impossibly busy right now." How could you blame him? Not only is he working on the arrival of Winter, but he also is finishing up edits for another Wilds Cards book (titled High Stakes), along with other film-related products which include three new series concepts for HBO and Cinemax. Let's not forget he is also hiring a team for three short low-budget films.

But that hasn't stopped loyal fans of the books and series from commenting and waging war on his personal blog about the last few episodes.

"It is not my intention to get involved in those, nor to allow them to take over my blog and website, so please stop emailing me about them, or posting off-topic comments here on my Not A Blog," he writes. "Wage those battles on Westeros, or Tower of the Hand, or Boiled Leather, or Winter Is Coming, or Watchers on the Walls. Anyplace that isn't here, actually."

While he knows he cannot control what others say or do — or make them stop, for that matter — he says he can only control "what happens in my books."

Hopefully fans will simmer down enough to let him get back to work, but if the season finale this weekend is all that it's hyped up to be, then he might be receiving more unwanted comments and emails.
