Jeremy Clarkson, former Top Gear host, will not return for Forza 6, but that is not stopping his two co-hosts from continuing their run with the game.

According to the developer of the game, Turn 10, Top Gear is still a big deal in Forza Motorsport 6, but everything will go on ahead without the former frontman Clarkson. As it stands, though, Richard Hammond and James May, former co-hosts of Top Gear, will both still do voiceover work.

"Top Gear still very much is a part of [Forza] Motorsport," Turn 10 content director John Wendl stated. "We have Stig's Digital Cousin, we have the Top Gear Test Track, we have Top Gear inspired events in the game, and we actually have Richard [Hammond] and James [May] continuing to do voiceover in the game as well."

This should come as no surprise to fans since Clarkson was sacked by the BBC after he assaulted his producer. Clarkson came out and stated that he felt sorry about what he did and was also saddened that the BBC did not renew his contract after 27 years of working with the company.

The 55-year-old has been rumored to be working on a new show set to appear on Netflix that is called House of Cars. We understand Hammond and May are both coming along to work on the new show, despite rumors claiming the BBC attempted to renew the contract of the duo, only to be denied by them.

If the mighty trio is indeed working on a new Netflix series, then it will no doubt hurt the BBC since all three men have a very strong following. In many ways, they are the reason why folks come back week after week to watch Top Gear, so with them gone and starting a new show, it is safe to say the majority will watch House of Cars instead of Top Gear.

As for future Forza Motorsport titles, we suspect that if fans make their voices heard, Turn 10 may choose to bring House of Cars into the fold and kick Top Gear to the sidelines.
