The Uncharted 4: A Thief's End demo at E3 2015 was amazing. It was everything that fans have come to expect from the franchise, turned up to 11: the gunplay, the traversal and the environments were nothing but pure eye candy. Driving a jeep through a town might end up being routine in any other game, but in Uncharted, it's something else entirely - and fans only got to see seven minutes of footage!

That being said, it seems like those seven minutes were only half of what Naughty Dog had up its sleeve: while the gameplay from Sony's E3 2015 press conference was outstanding, the full demo didn't stop with Nate hanging from a crane. Another 10 minutes of footage was shown behind closed doors - and it wasn't long before fans found out about it. Sadly, despite the fact that fans knew about the extended gameplay demo, Naughty Dog didn't seem all that worried about making the latter half of its E3 showing available to the public.

Thankfully, that's about to change: Naughty Dog will be streaming the rest of the E3 2015 demo from their Twitch channel later today, and fans will finally get their chance to see the extended gameplay footage.

Update: Well, that was amazing.

If there's one thing about the extended demo that's confusing, it's why Naughty Dog decided to hold off on publicly showing it off until E3 was over. While the first demo was huge, the extended demo is absolutely insane: everything about the environment is ridiculously detailed, the gameplay is the perfect evolution of what fans have seen throughout the franchise and there are far more stories teases than what Naughty Dog originally showed.

The extended demo also seems to be running on an updated build of the game: new lines of dialogue were added in, and certain effects (such as the jeep's speedometer working) are brand-new. They're definitely subtle, but those who have been watching the original E3 demo since its release will notice the updates.

Oh, and the character big reveal at the end? Absolute perfection.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set for release early next year.
