Some people want to relive the more peaceful moments of childhood, others simply find coloring between the lines relaxing and even therapeutic. One thing's for sure, though: adult coloring books are now officially a trend.

Marvel is getting in on the action, having just announced the release of Color Your Own Deadpool — a coloring book devoted exclusively to the character, who also happens to have his own movie coming out next year.

"Deadpool's got guns, he's got grenades, he's got swords," Marvel said in a press release. "But this January, he needs YOU! Because the Merc with a Mouth is the Merc Without Color — and he needs your help to fill in the lines with the Color Your Own Deadpool adult coloring book."

The Color Your Own Deadpool adult coloring book features 120 pages of artwork from some of Marvel's star artists. The only thing those pages need is color. Marvel is encouraging adult fans to grab their Crayons and get started — whether they like to color inside the lines or not.

This is the second coloring book announced by the company. The first, the Age of Ultron coloring book, comes out in the fall.

Adult coloring books are rising in popularity as more people over the age of 18 are taking to Crayons or color pencils to wind down after a stressful day. The Amazon top 20 best-seller lists often feature adult coloring books, with popular coloring titles such as Creative Cats and Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Patterns.

"People are stressed and anxious all the time," said Quarto publisher Jeannine Dillon to the Wisconsin Gazette. "Coloring is a way to calm down and unwind at the end of the day."

Now, comic book fans have that option, thanks to Marvel's new coloring books. The Age of Ultron adult coloring book hits stores on October 20 and the Color Your Own Deadpool book arrives in January of 2016.
