When it comes to the zombie apocalypse, you either survive in a world full of undead or you become one, at least according to a new trailer for upcoming mobile game The Walking Dead: No Man's Land.

The game, created by Next Games, follows along with The Walking Dead TV series, and even brings a character from that show, Daryl Dixon, into the game as a trainer for those playing it.

In the trailer, actor Norman Reedus, in character as Daryl, narrates, setting the tone for the game's grim setting.

"Don't you get it?" Reedus asks, in character as the crossbow-toting Daryl. "This is it now. Everybody you knew before is dead. There ain't no fast food joints, no warm showers. There's just us and there's them."

The trailer also features some gameplay from the game that shows how strategy, decision-making and combat play into the final outcome of the story.

Please note that this game has nothing in common with the heavily story-driven PC and console games by Telltale based on The Walking Dead.

"The Walking Dead: No Man's Land is devotedly crafted for 'The Walking Dead' fans," said Teemu Huuhtanen, Next Games CEO, in a press statement. "We are very excited about the momentous opportunity to bring one of the most adored TV shows into the mobile realm in collaboration with our partner AMC, the creators of the TV series."

The game also promises action-packed missions, lots of fighting walkers, strategy-based play for keeping your group safe and decision-based gameplay that lets you decide who lives and dies, all designed especially for touch screen devices.

The Walking Dead: No Man's Land releases to mobile devices on iOS in October when season six of The Walking Dead TV series premieres. There's no word on whether an Android version of the game is on its way or not.
