When a celebrity host is involved with the WWE, there's always a chance he or she affects the results of a match.

That was the case with Jon Stewart on Sunday, August 23, at SummerSlam live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

In his first major hosting gig since his longtime stint hosting the Daily Show, Stewart not only hosted SummerSlam, but he became directly involved with one of its biggest matches. At one point during the John Cena-Seth Rollins Winner Take All title match, Stewart found himself clutching a steel chair in the middle of the superstars with a decision to make.

Just when it looked like he was going to blast Rollins – who traded jabs with Stewart in recent months – the special SummerSlam host turned heel and nailed Cena in the midsection, helping Rollins win the match and walk out both the United States champion and World Heavyweight champion.

The moment had Stewart trending worldwide on Twitter and made him the talk of many other social media outlets as well. Also grabbing SummerSlam headlines was The Undertaker extracting revenge on Brock Lesnar, making The Beast pass out from his Hell's Gate submission. Well... that's one way to tame The Beast, right?

Arrow star Stephen Amell looked pretty good in the ring, even nailing an enzuigiri at one point in his tag-team match with Neville against King Barrett and Stardust. Neville hit Barrett with the Red Arrow for the team's win. No pun intended.

Other results included Kevin Owens edging Cesaro with a pop-up powerbomb and Sheamus keeping his momentum going strong with a win over Randy Orton. The New Day were crowned WWE tag team champions by defeating Los Matadores, Lucha Dragons and the Prime Time Players in a Fatal 4-Way match, while Dolph Ziggler and Rusev beat each other senseless to no-contest.

Ryback retained his Intercontinental title by defeating The Miz and Big Show and Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose beat Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte and Becky-Lynch) survived their elimination match with Team Bella (Bella Twins and Alicia Fox) and Team B.A.D. (Naomi, Tamina and Sasha Banks) in WWE Divas action.
