Two days in advance of the official beginning of IFA, Acer has kicked things off with the Predator 6. Announced to a packed house here in Berlin, the aggressively named handset boasts a slew of high-end specs to match, all aimed firmly at the mobile gaming contingent.

The Predator 6 packs 4 GB of RAM, and a full 10 cores of processing power, courtesy of MediaTek's deca-core processor.

Outside, users will find a 6-inch display, four speakers and a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera. The gaming-centric handset also boasts haptic feedback designed to simulate a joystick.

The phone is part of a suite of gamer-friendly Predator devices that also includes the Predator G3 desktop and the curved Z35 monitor.
