It's the weekend, and we have the top movies at the box office. It's a strange list, but that is probably due to the fact that there are only a few interesting films still available in U.S. theaters.

At the number one spot, we have the film The Perfect Guy. It opened with an estimated $26.7 million, which is not bad for a movie that is getting whacked by critics.

The Perfect Guy is about a woman who falls in love with some guy, and then, for some reason, her ex-boyfriend reappears in her life. She must now figure out which one of the two men to trust and which to fear.

Critics say the whole plot was easy to figure out, and if that is truly the case, then we might already know the ending.

The movie in the second spot is the comeback film of the century by writer-director M. Night Shyamalan, The Visit. From what we are seeing, critics seem to enjoy the movie, something we never thought possible of any film from this director after the horror that was After Earth and his many failures before.

Well, it would appear the once famed director is making a comeback, and we can only hope his success story continues, because we'd definitely want to see a biopic of this man just to understand how a director can fall from grace so hard.

The movie opened at an estimated $25.7 million.

The full list from Rentrak:

1. The Perfect Guy — $26.7 million

2. The Visit — $25.7 million

3. War Room — $7.4 million

4. A Walk In The Woods — $4.7 million

5. Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation — $4.2 million

6. Straight Outta Compton — $4.1 million

7. No Escape — $2.9 million

8. The Transporter Refueled — $2.7 million

9. 90 Minutes in Heaven — $2.2 million

Look at that, Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation is still in the top 10 after so many weeks at the box office. Where is Hitman? Oh, that's right, it was a complete joke of a film.
