While Fox's Minority Report might already be one ring closer to its death knell (Variety's Brian Lowy deemed it "a rather bland procedural, albeit one adorned with some cool futuristic gizmos," and TV.com declared the show dead in the water based on its Nielsen score), the adaptation of the 2002 Tom Cruise vehicle knows how play tongue-in-cheek with its more attentive viewers.

Set in 2065, the sci-fi show starring Meagan Good (Deception) and Stark Sands (Kinky Boots) eradicated the highly controversial name of Washington, D.C.'s NFL team in the third episode, changing it to "the Washington Red Clouds," and last night's episode kept up with the culturally relevant in-jokes by flashing $500 bills featuring the face of President Obama.

Actor Wilmer Valderrama (That '70s Show), who plays police officer Will Blake on the show, pointed out the Minority Report easter egg to his fans via Twitter:

For those who are unfamiliar with the pretense of the TV-adapted Minority Report reboot, the show, which is also based on the original novel by Philip K. Dick, "follows the unlikely partnership between a man (Dash, played by Sands) haunted by the future and a cop (Lara Vega, played by Good) haunted by her past, as they race to stop the worst crimes of the year 2065 before they happen."

Unfortunately, POTUS has yet to respond to Minority Report's props-giving, proposed future currency.
