Those in the market for a new smartphone will have another model to consider in the near future, with the LG V10 set to be offered by AT&T and T-Mobile in coming weeks.

The V10 is certainly an interesting smartphone that offers a number of unique features, such as two displays on the front of the device. One of these displays is located at the top of the device and is "always on."

The V10 is aimed at being a high-end device, offering features like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage with options to expand through the microSD card and a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera. The front-facing camera on the phone is 5 megapixels. LG is touting this device as having advanced video and editing features.

The specs are very similar to LG's flagship LG G4, and the phone will certainly appeal to many Android fans who like expandable storage and a removable battery, both features that have been removed on other flagship devices, like those offered by Samsung.

The second display looks to have a similar use as the Edge display on Samsung's Galaxy Edge series of phones. It will offer users things like date, time, weather, notifications, camera controls and so on. It does seem a little unusual that this display is placed at the top, from which users will be swiping down to access the Android control tray, however, its use remains to be seen.

T-Mobile will begin selling the V10 on Oct. 28 for the full retail device of $600. Customers can also pay for the phone over a 24-month period with $25 payments.

AT&T will start selling the V10 on Nov. 6, and will charge an all-in cost of $700. Those who commit to a two-year plan can buy the phone for $250. Alternatively, AT&T Next customers can pay $23.34 per month for 30 months, $29.17 for 24 months or $35 for 20 months.
