Virtual reality space simulation title Adr1ft was revealed to be coming to the HTC Vive virtual reality headset this spring, after its success in the Oculus Rift platform. The game allows players to take on the character of an astronaut who is floating through the wreckage of a destroyed space station, with no memory of what happened.

Eve: Valkyrie is another space game previously launched with the Oculus Rift that will be coming to the HTC Vive, and the title could generate more buzz for the virtual reality headset compared to Adr1ft.

Eve: Valkyrie is a multiplayer space combat game, wherein players can engage in dogfights using spaceships or simply explore a deep-space environment within the vast EVE Online universe. The title is one of the biggest and most polished virtual reality games out in the market right now, with graphics that provide players with an immersive view that truly makes them feel like they are in a spaceship's cockpit.

News about the pending release of the game on the HTC Vive was confirmed by Eve: Valkyrie's official Twitter account. However, no definite date was given for the title's launch on HTC's virtual reality headset apart from the fact that it will be released within the year.

Eve: Valkyrie ships with the Oculus Rift, with the title also previously confirmed to be coming to the Windows PC and PlayStation VR. A developer previously stated that a version for the HTC Vive of Eve: Valkyrie would not be possible, but that has now changed.

The announcement of Eve: Valkyrie coming to the HTC Vive comes just as the first preordered units of the virtual reality headset are being shipped out on April 5.

Unfortunately, there have been reports that customers who preordered the HTC Vive are experiencing various issues. One such issue is that some credit cards are refusing to process the $800 price tag of the virtual reality headset, while another issue is the higher-than-expected shipping charges being billed to customers.
