Microsoft has unveiled the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14328 for Windows 10 testers, packing in a load of neat features, such as Windows Ink, Cortana enhancements and more.

On April 22, Gabe Aul, the corporate vice president of Microsoft's Engineering Systems Team, said that this is a major build for PC, and there isn't a lot for Mobile as it just rolled out an updated Mobile build. He also reminded users that this build may include a slew of bugs, though.

"With the amount of code change in this build, there are going to be some rough edges," he says.

This is why the company is pushing this build out to those in the "Fast" ring. Those who wish to veer away from the bugs may want to consider switching to the "Slow" ring or wait for a later build to arrive.

Without further ado, here is a run-through of what's in store for users with this new Windows 10 Insider Preview Build.

Windows Ink

The Windows Ink is deemed as the headline feature for this new build, which the company announced at the Build 2016 held in March. This is as well a new experience poised to be dished out later this summer via the company's Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

This new feature enables Windows 10 PC users to draw on a sketchbook or whiteboard, make sticky notes and draw on Web pages in Maps, Microsoft Edge and more. Plus, this new, nifty feature is incorporated in the Office.

The Windows Ink Workspace is also enabled by default on any device with an active pen, in the likes of Surface Book or Surface Pro 4. This can be accessed through the pen button in the notification area of users' taskbar.

Cortana Enhancements

Next up, Microsoft has now improved Cortana in this new build. The virtual assistant can now be spotted on the lock screen. The lock screen will no longer show users' email address for security reasons and will provide access to Media Controls, too.

Cortana now permits users to quickly search their files, which include OneDrive content.

What's more, it has now the capacity to share articles from a News app or take Photo Reminders.

With the latest build, users can use this virtual assistant without having to set it up or to sign in. Microsoft also made Cortana easier for new users to try out. On top of that, it now made cross-device features work as it should be.

Improved Start Menu

The company also beefed-up the Start experience. With Build 14328, the Start Menu now sports a refreshed visual layout.

For example, it has now merged Most Used apps and All Apps list in one view so to lessen clicking and scrolling.

It likewise made a few functions, such as Settings, File Exporer and Power, more visible on the Start Menu.

Moreover, the full-screen All Apps list is now back on tablets, thanks to those who requested this feature.

More Modifications

The company also made some small, subtle tweaks here and there.

1. It added and changed a few menu timers and icons, such as the amped up File Explorer icon.

2. It has now integrated Cortana in the Action Center.

3. Wi-Fi Quick Action no longer turns Wi-Fi on or off.

4. The taskbar clock now integrates the calendar to easily check users' day-to-day schedule.
