America might not celebrate the various holidays that make up Japan's Golden Week celebrations, but that doesn't mean those in the U.S. aren't still allowed to have some fun. Sony just kicked off a massive new PlayStation Network sale in honor of Golden Week, and it fittingly discounts a number of Japanese-developed games that gamers might be interested in picking up.

There are dozens of titles included in the sale across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Many of them are JRPGs, but there is something to be found for lovers of any gaming genre, including those who are fans of action or old-school titles like Mega Man. Every game featured in the sale is at least 30 percent off, with some discounts going all the way up to 50 or even 75 percent.

Some of the standout games featured in the sale for PS4 are Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Gravity Rush Remastered and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Deluxe Edition. You can't go wrong with any of those titles, especially if you're a fan of Nartuo or Digimon.

On the PS3 side of the sale, gamers can snag titles like Yakuza 5, Catherine, Bayonetta and more at some steep discounts. A number of remastered PS1 and PS2 games for PS3 are also featured, including titles like Mega Man Legends and Suikoden II. Whether you're looking for something new or want to kick back with a classic, this sale looks to have you covered.

PS Vita gamers can also snag some deals on Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Persona 4: Dancing All Night, among others. Though the sale lists deals on movies, it doesn't appear that any of the anime shows and films featured are actually discounted in any way. Still, if you're looking for some anime, the sale rounds it all up in one convenient place for you.

Technically, Golden Week doesn't begin until the first week of May in Japan, but gamers can enjoy these discounts from now up until May 2. As with all PlayStation Network sales, those with PlayStation Plus memberships will get an extra discount as part of their $50 a year membership.
