A new report claims to reveal some of the specs of next year's flagship HTC 11 and a supposed leaked image. The smartphone is said to include a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, whopping 8 GB of RAM, and more.

Android smartphone fans are only a few months away from getting their hands on the latest flagship handsets from Samsung, LG, and HTC. Samsung has already confirmed the Galaxy S8 will feature a new "slick design" and is expected to drop the standard 3.5mm headphone port, while the LG G6 will sport an all-glass design. We're now beginning to hear more details of what HTC might have in store for the HTC 11.

In early November, we reported that sources claimed the HTC 11 would boast a 5.5-inch Quad HD dual curved edge display just like the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and feature a 12-megapixel rear camera. Now, new details regarding HTC's 2017 flagship handset have leaked and if true, it's going to be a very impressive and powerful device.

Is This Really The HTC 11?

According to a report from TimesNews, which also captured the above screenshot of what is said to be a leaked image of the HTC 11 from a post on Weibo, HTC is going all out for next year's HTC 11. The tipster claims the HTC 11 will feature a 5.5-inch 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD borderless display, although there is no mention of it being a curved edge display.

HTC 11 Specs Too Good To Be True?

The HTC 11 will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm's latest octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor, which features a more powerful Adreno 540 GPU (graphics processing unit) and is also said to pack in a whopping 8 GB of RAM. The source claims the HTC 11 will ship with 256 GB of internal storage and as you can see in the image above, the smartphone will reportedly include a 12-megapixel rear dual-camera system and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat.

The HTC 11 will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, along with an updated version of HTC Sense 8.0 UI. The smartphone is said to include a large 3,700 mAh battery that will support Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0, which decreases charging times by 20 percent compared to Quick Charge 3.0.

HTC 11 Price Revealed

The report doesn't specify an exact release date but does say the HTC 11 will be priced at £550+ in the UK or around $691 USD when it hits store shelves.

While the image above is said to be a leaked shot of the HTC 11, the photo appears to be a user created render of the device. Therefore, take this report with a huge grain of salt for now. We'll keep you posted on any new HTC 11 details as they become available.
