Nintendo recently unveiled Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, a mobile version of its popular and highly raved Animal Crossing franchise and also its fourth title for mobile devices after Miitomo, Super Mario Run, and, most recently, Fire Emblem Heroes.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

The game is going to be released worldwide late November on Android and iOS, but there's a way to play the game right now. iPhone users in Australia can access it as part of a soft launch — but with a few simple tricks, anyone else around the world can too.

How To Download 'Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp' Right Now

Here's how to download Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on your iPhone way ahead of its release date next month, via instructions published by Polygon and Kotaku:

Sign out of your Apple account: Those who already have an Apple ID will have to sign out of their account first. Open Settings and choose the account name at the very top. A new window will open up. Scroll way down and sign out.

Launch the App Store and pretend to get a free app: Once signed out, open the App Store and choose any free game or app. This will open up a prompt asking users to sign in or create a new Apple ID. Choose to create a new one.

Create a new email account: For this to work, the new Apple ID must not be associated with any email used previously in other Apple ID accounts. So create a new email account on Yahoo, Gmail, or others.

Choose Australia as the country: This is very important. In creating a new Apple ID, users get to choose which country they're in. This is because App Stores vary depending on countries. Since the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp soft launch is only available in Australia, choose Australia.

Billing information: After choosing a country, users will be asked to set up a payment method. There'll be options for PayPal, credit card, and none. Choose none.

Verify email: This is when the new email comes in handy. Log in to that account and open a verification email Apple just sent. Verify it. Apple may require users to sign in again afterward. Comply.

Go back to the App Store: Once everything is completed, open up the App Store. It'll be set in Australia, of course. Search for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, download it, wait for the install to finish, then play.

That's it. Pretty simple and straightforward, right? Plus, it's not illegal at all, so it won't break any sort of warranty or user agreement between the user and Apple. Do keep in mind, however, that progress made in the soft launch version might not be carried over to the main app when it launches.
