As of the moment, many "COD" fans are waiting for Raven Software and Treyarch, the game's developers, to adjust the power of DMR-14 as part of the next major Warzone update.

The new DMR-14 rifle came as part of the wider integration with "Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War" last year. Because of its power, the weapon made a huge noise in the game.

Although there are powerful weapons, such as Diamatii, a weapon that many players praise because of its top firepower when dual-wielded, and the Mac-10, the most preferred weapon for short-range due to high fire rate, the DMR-14 is still playing at another level.

According to Express UK's latest report, the weapon quickly became the go-to rifle ever since it was entered the game. Many players are taking advantage of the rifle's unique mix of traits.

Players can make the weapon reach its full potential by upgrading it via Gunsmith to have 40 rounds of ammunition and increase the weapon's bullet velocity and damage range. Remember, this gun is a Tactical Rifle. Now, imagine a rifle used for closed range and can do great damage at long-range.

DMR-14's nerf date

COD's DMR-14 is currently the best choice for the Duos game since it can take down two enemies in a short period. The rifle's fast bullets also make it hard for opposing teams to return fire.

This just shows how OP the rifle really is. However, you can still defeat those who are using the DMR-14 using any weapons. It will still be hard to win since you need to memorize the maps to find the right cover.

You also need to have skills to make all your bullets hit the enemy in one go. Many gamers are complaining that the DMR-14 is just too powerful, making them wish that the weapon will be nerfed.

The game's upcoming nerf is expected to happen later this month of January. Rumors claim that it can happen around Jan. 5 or Jan. 7. But, the game's publishers haven't released any update yet regarding the exact date and if there will also be other weapons included in the nerf.

There's a better rifle than DMR-14

"Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War" DMR-14 might be the best rifle right now. However, a "COD" streamer claimed that there's an even greater weapon that you can use. This gun might also come really handy once the DMR-14 is nerfed.

Charlie Intel reported that FaZe Swagg discovered another open rifle that players can take advantage of. The streamer even uploaded a YouTube video to show how powerful the alternative gun is.

Faze Swagg is referring to the Type 63 tactical rifle. He claims that it can kill enemies faster than DMR-14. Here's the YouTuber's video you need to watch.
