How to Get a House

How to Complete the Hylian Homeowner Quest

In order to complete the Hylian Homeowner quest, you need to head back to the house and you will spot a man wearing pink trousers, according to Polygon.

That man's name is Bolson. Talk to him and he will initially offer to sell you the house for 50,000 rupees, which is a great amount of money that you may not have.

Thankfully, this can be reduced to 3,000 rupees if you agree to bring Bolson 30 wood stacks. Once you have done that, that is the start of the Hylian Homeowner quest, according to IGN.

Assuming that you have the rupees and the wood ready, talk to Bolson again to hand over the wood then pay the cash. The house is now yours and you can enhance it as you wish. It comes complete with a weapon mounts, thus allowing Link to store three different weapons on it to retrieve it in the future.

How to Furnish Your House

The additional items of furniture that you can buy from Bolson at 100 rupees each are weapon mount, bow mount, bed, shield mount, door, lighting, flowerbed, nameplate and trees. Just talk to him, tell him what you want and give him the money.

Now that you have purchased your own home, you will probably want to make sure that you can cook delicious and satisfying meals using the best recipes.

You will spot a cooking pot just outside and you can have enough money to purchase everything that you want to decorate it. You will need to be alive in order to do that, so it is worth finding out how to kill Guardians and to respect Links health and stamina.

With a house to decorate and call your very own, you can now go to the sunset and tackle whatever quest or challenge that is thrown at you. You will now have the safety net that you need knowing you can always return to Hateno Village at any given point and you have a safe and beautiful place to sleep and rest.
