"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2" may be coming for this year, as a new leak comes from an insider that talked about the game's teaser for its next release. However, there are still speculations on the report as the company did not yet confirm any details regarding "Breath of the Wild 2," which is the awaited sequel of the Zelda series. 

'Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2' Leak Coming from Prominent Leaker

Comic Book Gaming reports that a new leak for Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2" came from a trusted leaker that gave an accurate "Star Wars" news before it came out. However, it also focuses on taking this leak with caution as there are no explicit confirmations or statements from Nintendo that would corroborate the claim. 

The leaker, AccountNGT, says that Nintendo would not be giving the fans any updates regarding its game until June this year. And the update is not a significant release from the Japanese conglomerate. It might only contain further information about the game's storyline or development update that focuses on its next Zelda release.

'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2' Coming in 2022?

Leaks also said that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2" is coming this 2022 but did not give an exact date or month for this release. The only thing known to many now is that the game is released after five years, but that could also change from Nintendo, especially if they fail to deliver the game and its development in time. 

'Zelda' Games and its Popularity in the Switch Console

E3 2021 brought Nintendo's showcase on the future of "Zelda" games that confirmed the "Breath of the Wild 2" with its teaser trailer discussing its next release. However, no other releases or topics came from Nintendo as the company kept this development under a tight-knit for its future, especially for Nintendo Switch fans. 

"The Legend of Zelda" series is one of the most famous games in Nintendo history, and fans are willing to pay as much as $870,000 for its original game cartridge from auctions. The game's popularity from before stems up to now, especially with the demand by gamers for its next release to bring a sequel to its "Breath of the Wild" series. 

The last "Zelda: Breath of the Wild" came previous 2017, and it is five years in without any releases from the company. 

Nintendo is keeping a tight lid on its "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2," and it keeps the fans and gamers of the game series at the edge of their seats for its following announcement. Leaks or no leaks, the important thing now is that "Breath of the Wild 2" is already set for its release, but the fans would have to wait for Nintendo's word for it.
