The focus of the new electric dune buggy from Meyers Manx is for adventures, and its power output now is at 202 horsepower and up to 240 ft. lbs. of torque. It is still shaping up for its official reveal at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club, in Carmel, California, on August 19.

It continues the legacy of Bruce Meyers who passed away in 2021, focusing on the new car with modern takes as an EV.

Moreover, it will come as an assembled vehicle for all, right out of production, unlike its previous setup of kits available for sale.

The Volkswagen Beetle and Meyers Manx

History has got a great way of telling the world its origins and beginnings, with it applicable to the many technologies available now in the world, created by brilliant minds through time. One of the most historical vehicles in the world is the Volkswagen Beetle, as the little car went through a lot as a service vehicle, with some modifying it for different focuses.

However, there is an end to its era that threatened its construction back in 2016, when a rumor talked about the company seizing production in 2018 with the last of the modern Beetles to arrive by then. The discontinuation took place last 2019 when the vehicle saw its last release from the company.

Before that, it generated several iconic variations and modifications coming from Bruce Meyers, bringing an iconic "dune buggy" from 1964 to 1971.

Volkswagen is still a prominent company now, but it mostly focuses on electric vehicles like its ID. projects that brought its take on clean energy cars.

Also, the German car company is not the only one reviving old projects back to the world now, focusing on a modern take with clean energy sources for the vehicle. Meyers Manx is coming up with its take, soon arriving for the world to use for adventures and other needs.
