Stress is eating people away, and it is because of the internal body functions that see the effect from one's moods, hormones, and others that highly affect productivity and different factors for a person. The Apple Watch is now a platform that can deliver stress monitoring features, and while that is not yet available to the highly-capable device, apps are here to save the day.

Three apps already feature Stress Monitoring capabilities to deliver for users, and it does not need the Apple update or a new device from Cupertino to get this function. According to 9to5Mac, users may try any of these three apps for their stress management needs, especially for those who continuously experience it.

These apps are one of the initial programs available on the Apple Watch to help understand one's daily stress levels, the time they usually get it, and help manage it in the future.

It uses the heart rate monitor of the Apple Watch to keep tabs on a person's stress level and uses its algorithm to interpret the data regarding one's stress for more information for its users.

Apple Watch is Ready for a Stress Monitor

According to a new study, the Apple Watch is ready for a stress monitor to arrive natively for the device. However, this feature is not yet available for the current Series 8, Ultra, and Watch SE.

It uses the electrocardiogram function of the Apple Watch to interpret the data, focusing on the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) as well. And while the HRV already gives information regarding a person's stress level, it does not specifically focus on it and explain it to its owners.

Apple Watch and its Apps

For the longest time now, Apple has made its watch more than a sports wearable and intended it for the different lifestyles of its users, centering on health tech features and the like. One study by the Mayo Clinic focuses on its new AI algorithm which it aims to use for detecting cardiac dysfunction, using only Apple's electrocardiogram (ECG).

From fitness to health tech, the Apple Watch has it all and still has notable features for the device's accessory function to the iPhones.

On the other hand, the later Apple Watch releases and its most recent operating system update allow the further use of the wearable as an emergency device, one that centers on fall detection. Additionally, it features car crash detection features, as well as notifying users of any nearby crashes to alert them of the accident.

The Apple Watch has many features now, and it is not a surprising thing that there are more coming to the small device that is packed with fitness, health, and life-saving features in the future. Stress monitoring uses the heart rate to determine what a person endures, and now, it is not only for the clinical setting but for the home or office with the apps for the Watch.
