The Information shared its latest report on the highly-anticipated Apple mixed-reality headset, which still remains nameless to this day. According to its round-up of the headset's features, there is a rumor that they claimed that it will not have a "talk" capability built-in the device.
This means that people would have to connect external headsets with microphones for them to communicate via the AR/VR experience. The Information suggested that Apple would enable this feature when connecting the latest AirPods Pro, the 2nd-generation device released last September 2022.
The mixed-reality headset will come with a built-in speaker to output audio, but for users who need input, the AirPods Pro 2 is the best device to pair with the upcoming wearable.

H2 Chip's Secret Mode for the Apple Devices
As per 9to5 Mac, The Information noted that there is a secret feature on the H2 chips that will make this connection seamless for future users of the AR/VR device.
This is called the "low-latency transmission mode," and is only available for the mixed-reality headset and the AirPods Pro 2.
Other wireless earbuds and older versions of the AirPods would not be applicable due to lag.
It is important to note that the AirPods Pro 2 sports the H2 chip, and this would also be the same processor to power the AR/VR headset.
