Amazon Echo devices and other Alexa-enabled tech from the company is getting a new feature with the "Hey Disney" command, coming this year for its integration. The famed e-commerce company unveiled this over at its CES 2023 booth, featuring the collaboration with Disney to deliver a new experience for content and games from the company.

It will be arriving as an "Alexa Skill" to add to their devices, under a monthly subscription from Amazon and Disney's latest collaboration to push for content.

Amazon Alexa's Hey Disney skill brings the Disney Parks Hotel experience to your home.

Disney Parks hotels have Amazon Echo devices on their nightstands where visitors may command Alexa, err, and Disney's voice assistant to bring up content for them. That same feature announced last November is coming to everyone's homes, with the recent partnership by Amazon and Disney to deliver this new voice assistant.

The "Hey Disney" magical voice assistant is coming soon for the Amazon Echo devices, as voiced by Nicolas Roye, known for his work on anime and video games.

Additionally, Mickey Mouse, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, Dory, and Olaf are also joining in for cameos in this voice assistant skill for Alexa.

What Does it Do and How Much?

Users may apply for the e-mail update regarding the Hey Disney Amazon Alexa skill to get the feature when it becomes available for their device.

It gives users access to several Disney content and games for their entertainment needs, for Alexa to bring it to them in another voice.

This feature would be available for $5 monthly via Amazon, under the Alexa Skills list.

Amazon Alexa Features

Alexa is one of the most famous voice assistant systems in the world now, and the company further develops it to be its forefront help for homes, offices, and other platforms that it is used. One of the most recent developments from Amazon is the Search Ads that Alexa will enunciate to users, available for those under the company's registry.

Because of Alexa's skills and features, it is now the next-generation partner of BMW for its vehicles and other features it aims to deliver, to drivers and car owners. This decision comes from a 2018 partnership that once planned to include the voice assistant in cars, but was not able to do so, until this latest announcement from the German car brand.

Amazon developed Alexa as its integrated voice assistant for its multiple products for the smart home available on its e-commerce platform, soon also to be part of Matter. However, while MBKHD ranks Alexa as the worst, it is still the chosen partner by Disney to deliver a magical experience for users, in this recent collaboration.
