PlayStation Plus January 2023 Game Catalog for Extra and Premium Tiers

Sony announced the complete gaming catalog of PlayStation Plus for January via its PlayStation Blog.

The Director of Content Acquisition & Operations at Sony Interactive Entertainment, Adam Micel, confirmed that games like "Back 4 Blood," are coming to the gaming service.

"Dragon Ball Fighter Z" for PlayStation 4 (PS4) also joins the catalog, as well as "Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition" for PS5.

"Just Cause 4: Reloaded," Erica," and "Omno" for PS4 gamers are also on their way to the platform next week.

The January lineup includes "Life is Strange" and "Life is Strange: Before the Storm." PS4 and PS5 gamers could get their hands on "Jett: The Far Shore."

The PlayStation blog initially included "Sayonara Wild Heart" in the list of upcoming January games. However, the music action game was incorrectly added. So it is apparently skipping the lineup for this month.

PlayStation Plus Premium Classics

Aside from these modern game offerings, PlayStation Plus is also gaining a few cult classics from the PS1.

Games like "Hot Shots Golf 2" and "Star Wars Demolition" are coming to the Premium Tier. "Syphon Filter 3" is also on its way to the gaming service.

When Are These Games Releasing?

Sony says that all these games are releasing this January 17. So by next week, its subscribers could get their hands on games like "Dragon Ball Fighter Z."

If you are planning to start diving into these games on a weekend, you will have to wait until the next weekend to do so, as Sony is releasing these games on a Tuesday.
