Matter Integration for All

Back in 2021, there was a project from different tech companies that aims to be a collective approach to the many developments in the smart home. This was called the "Matter" integration, and it is an Internet of Things (IoT) that would center on a platform where connected devices can thrive, despite coming from different manufacturers or companies.

It was headlined by the likes of the Connectivity Standards Alliance, Apple, Google, Samsung, Amazon, and other companies who is part of this collective.

However, instead of launching in 2021, the platform pushed it towards mid-2022 and finally made its debut to the world towards the end of the Fall season.

The world is now enjoying what Matter has to offer, and its massive integration program is live from different companies part of it, especially with names from Big Tech. Samsung takes one step further in its availability for all, particularly in this latest launch of the SmartThings app for iOS, especially for those who prefer it better than HomeKit.
