Apple iPhone 13 Pro is now available in the official refurbished online store of the Cupertino-based tech giant in the US.

So if you are looking to buy yourself a cheap high-end iPhone, this might be your chance to do so. After all, refurbished models are not only more affordable, but Apple also assures that it follows its standards, replacing what needs to be replaced.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Refurbished is Now Available

According to a report by GSM Arena, Apple began selling refurbished iPhone 13 models in Europe last January, including the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

And this time, the renowned phone maker starts bringing these refurbished iPhones to its official online store in the US.

9to5 Mac notes in its report that Apple initially made the iPhone 13 available in its refurbished online store. However, it quickly got sold out. So, its virtual shelves now only carry the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

How Much is a Refurbished iPhone 13 Pro

The iPhone 13 Pro refurbished version starts at $849 for its 256 GB variant. The discount is roughly $150 compared to getting the mobile device brand new.

If you want bigger storage, the refurbished store also offers a 512 GB option, which retails for $1,019. The savings is a bit bigger to the tune of $180.

The 1TB variant, on the other hand, sells for $1,189, which offers a discount of up to $210.

Besides the iPhone 13 Pro, the higher-end Pro Max model is also available. The refurbished option with up to 512GB of storage starts at $1,099, giving its buyers up to $180 of savings. Meanwhile, the 1TB variant carries up to a whopping $230 discount, retailing for only $1,239.

It is worth noting that an iPhone 13 Pro typically starts at $999, whereas the Pro Max variant sells as high as $1499. But thanks to its refurbished version, these high-end flagship devices just got significantly more affordable.

Is it Worth Getting?

Although refurbished phones are technically second-hand, Apple replaces some components with brand-new parts.

For instance, all officially refurbished iPhones come with a new battery. So if you are concerned that it might have a janky battery, sweat no more.

Apart from that, it also sports a new outer shell, box, and charging cable. Not to mention that it comes with a one-year warranty.

The iPhone maker says that "every Apple Certified Refurbished product completes a rigorous refurbishment process that includes full testing that meets the same functional standards as new Apple products."
