Sony's WF-1000XM4 wireless earphones have made quite a splash since their launch, and now they're even better valued. Amazon is offering the ANC buds for £179, almost a third - or £73 - cheaper than their original asking price of £250.

Impressive Noise Cancellation and Comprehensive Features Of Sony WF-1000XM4

According to the story by Trusted Reviews, whether the buyer is an audiophile or not, these earphones don't want features: they'll get eight hours of battery life and a total of 24 hours with the charging case, it's small than the previous generation.

When putting these buds through their paces, our reviewer found plenty to love about them. Not only do buyers get rich sound and impressive noise cancellation, but their small size and waterproof rating were mentioned, as were their comprehensive features.

Speaking of noise cancellation, Bose might have the edge on this one, and, unfortunately, call quality in noisy areas isn't the best. But if buyers are not too concerned with that, the Sony WF-1000XM4 offers great value and overall performance.

Possibility of the XM5: Waiting for the Next Iteration

Adding to the appeal, buyers also get LDAC support, meaning they can enjoy higher-quality audio than they usually get with a wired connection. But, naturally, as good as all of this sounds, any good deal needs to be balanced with one caveat - the wait for the XM5.

As the XM4s have been around for a couple of years, the possibility of their latest iteration becoming available soon can't be denied. This means that, whilst with the price reduction in these XM4s, the deal might be the best time to buy them, it could pay to wait and see what Sony brings next.

The Sony WF-1000XM4 has been hailed as some of the world's best true wireless earphones. Recently, the headset has been released with a dramatic price cut of £73, bringing the price down to £179. Buyers can check out the deal on Amazon.

Take Advantage Of The 28% Price Drop On Sony's WF-1000XM4 Earbuds

In US dollars, the price of the earbuds dropped from $310.36 to just $222.22 after the 28% drop, as also seen on Amazon.

If buyers were on the fence before, this is their chance to get an amazing wireless headset for less. The XM4 features impressive noise-canceling technology and can last up to 8 hours until recharging, with 24 hours available with the charging case.

The earphones reportedly have a rich sound quality and extensive feature set, and they also include LDAC support for higher-quality audio files transmitted wirelessly. Additionally, they have a compact design, an IPX4 waterproof rating, and can be comfortably worn for an extended period.

The XM4 has been out for a couple of years now, and this big price cut could mean that Sony is about to release their next generation, the WF-1000XM5. If buyers want the best possible headset, they may want to wait to see what the new model has in store.
