The Samsung staff explained that Galaxy smartphones running One UI should update their Keyboard App to the latest version (v 5.6.10.31).

He added that the application's additional features, such as stickers and emojis, consume more energy than usual.

How to Update Samsung Keyboard App?

Updating the Samsung Keyboard App is a piece of cake. Usually, the One UI system will send a notification message if the Keyboard App already has a new version that users can update to.

But, if you ever missed this message, here are the steps you need to follow to update the app manually.

  • First, visit the official Galaxy Store app.
  • After that, search for the Samsung Keyboard App or check the Updates section.
  • Once in the Keyboard App, click the update button and check if that version is v 5.6.10.31.

If the battery drain issue still affects your Samsung Galaxy smartphone, you can best contact the gadget maker via its official Facebook page.

To do this, search for Samsung and the country you are located in. After that, send them a DM and wait for the company's reply.

As of writing, some Galaxy owners still experience the battery drain problem despite updating to the latest Keyboard App version.

If you are one of them, the best thing you can do is wait for Samsung's further announcements.
