"Fortnite" is no stranger to adding notable characters coming from different franchises to its game. Recently, leaks have pointed to the potential addition of a known Transformers character to the series, the possible entry of Optimus Prime.

New Rumors Suggest that Optimus Prime Could Make His Way to the New 'Fortnite' Season

According to the story by Games Radar, the game is possibly getting Optimus Prime in its upcoming season. Although not much is known regarding the validity of these leaks, screenshots have started to circulate showing the addition of the character to Fortnite.

A Reddit post by Ambushments to GamingLeaksAndRumors showed the Optimus Prime skin on a loading screen. The picture also showed a lush jungle in the background, which could be the theme for the upcoming season.

Known Fortnite Leaker Supports the Rumors of a Tropical Game and the Addition of Optimus Prime

This comes as HYPEX, a known Fortnite leaker, said that he would be joining the game soon and that he'll be released on June 9, 2023. According to Loadout, he shared that Season 3 would have a tropical theme.

HYPEX also chimed in regarding Optimus Prime being added to the game. He noted that the next collaboration would be between Transformers and Fortnite and that the character would be added to the battle pass.

New Season Could Also Allow Players to Ride on Raptors

The leaker also notes that besides Optimus Prime, players could have rideable Raptors and a Mechanic skin. It was also noted that the rumored update could also include a "Tropical Biome" along with different areas.

The rumored areas that HYPEX thinks would be added to the game include a Desert area and a volcanic area. He also noted that the game would add a racing mode, with the default being a new supercar.

HYPEX expects the game to add sky/ground race tracks with Chapter 4, Season 3. So far, the upcoming update doesn't have a fixed release date, but fans are already speculating that it could come in early June 2023, as the current season is expected to end on June 9.
