There is a lot to expect from Capcom's latest arcade fighting game, Street Fighter 6, but one of the most anticipated releases here is the game's downloadable content (DLC) which is promised to bring new characters and experiences. The company already announced these four DLCs coming but did not reveal the release date for them, until now for the character known as Rashid.

Rashid's DLC on SF6 is coming this July, and he is the first to be revealed by the company, with the other three's release dates remaining unknown to fans and gamers.

The first DLC to arrive on Street Fighter 6 is Rashid, and the game announced that the character is making his Street Fighter debut this July 24.

Rashid is the game's 19th character to arrive on its roster and is limited to those who have purchased the DLC, the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, or the Year 1 Character Pass subscription.

The DLC would be available on all platforms including the PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, and PC. Gamers can expect more of Rashid's character in all three modes of Street Fighter 6, including the World Tour feature in the game where they can get more information about the character.

What to Expect from SF6's Rashid DLC?

As per the character's gameplay trailer from Street Fighter and Capcom, gamers may expect a "whirlwind of moves" which were designed for him. Rashid is also known as "The Turbulent Wind," and is remarkable to gamers when he was first introduced in Street Fighter V.

Expect a slur of old moves from SFV to arrive with Rashid on SF6, but there are also expected new moves which will be introduced once the DLC is available.

There are two special attacks worth checking out for Rashid, including the Arabian Cyclone special move, and the Arabian Skyhigh double jump move. The character's Yssar V-Trigger from SFV is also making a comeback, as well as his Level 2 Super Art.

The Super Rashid Level 1 Super Art and the Altair as a Level 3 Super Art are also coming.

Street Fighter and Capcom

One of CAPCOM's most famous gaming franchises is still Street Fighter, and the company has greatly developed the game throughout the years while keeping the adrenaline-pumping experience alive. Many have speculated on the latest sequel game for years, only seeing an announcement back in 2022 which brought the first teaser for Street Fighter 6.

There are a lot of new experiences introduced with SF6, and one of the most anticipated was the latest game mode called the "Battle Hub." This new online experience resembles what a metaverse looks like, with people coming in as their digital avatars and interacting in a hub with other players from all over the world, where they could also play and fight in an arcade, in-game version of Street Fighter.

SF6 is one of the top-regarded fighting games in the present, and it remains a famous franchise among gamers even after decades of showcasing its games. It still brings new and old characters back who are not part of the original roster, with Rashid soon joining the fighting frenzy of Capcom's latest installment.
