Streaming has been one of the most important features of the present age, and now, Motorola has collaborated with Microsoft for a different kind of streaming experience with the ThinkPhone. Not only do users get to stream the Windows operating system on their smartphones, but they could also do various work from the smartphone.

What is even more iconic with this collaboration is that it allows users to stream the Windows OS without a computer, with only the Motorola ThinkPhone as the device.

According to the latest press release from Motorola, a collaboration with Microsoft has brought computer portability right on one's hand and pockets with the Motorola ThinkPhone. This centers on the Windows 365 cloud PC that would be available to launch whenever connecting one's device to an external monitor that supports USB-C video.

The phone acts as the computer for all your needs, and it would need to connect to a monitor that supports this USB-C connection to stream the Windows cloud PC from anywhere.

Its latest solution brings portability and remote working a massive plus thanks to the collaboration, with the Microsoft Azure cloud empowering its versatile offers.

No Computers? No Problem for the ThinkPhone

This experience does not require users to have a computer, as the ThinkPhone only needs to connect to the cloud via the internet and stream the Windows 365 cloud PC to any monitor.

However, it requires users to have an active Windows 365 subscription to access the said feature, with a starting price of $30, depending on the tier.

Their progress are also saved in the cloud, and connecting from another source would let them continue where they left off.

Users also need to have an external mouse and keyboard setup to better access the Windows stream via the ThinkPhone.

Android to Windows, Windows to Android

One of the most important features that Windows brought to the world is the ability to sync an Android smartphone to the computer, essentially working like Apple's iPhone and Mac. What is ironic about this is that there are more Android and Windows users in the world, and this, gives more power and experiences to users than ever before.

However, it did not end there, as Microsoft expanded a lot for Windows 11 when it was introduced, allowing more smartphone experiences to arrive on the PC.

Android's famed APK or application files may be installed on Microsoft computers, provided that it is downloaded from trusted app stores like the Windows Store or the Amazon App Store.

There is still an absence of a Windows-to-Android experience, but that was short-lived, as Motorola's collaboration with Microsoft bore the fruit of one of the most expansive experiences for the smartphone. The ThinkPhone is now capable of streaming the Windows OS through a subscription, and it does not require one to own a computer.
