According to Wccftech, the next-gen smartphones are touted to feature WiFi 6E support. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman claimed that the iPhone 14's successor is now ready for its September 12 release.
With this in mind, several questions keep entering our mind including its performance, camera upgrade, display improvement, storage options, color options, and more.
iPhone 16 Pro Models Will Be Equipped With WiFi 7
If you think that WiFi 6E is already ahead of its time, you're definitely wrong. There's a newer rumor that surfaced online which suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro will feature WiFi 7, a more powerful version of WiFi 6E.
Jeff Pu, a renowned analyst from Haitong International Securities, claims that the iPhone 16 Pro series which will be available next year, will have this year-over-year connectivity upgrade.
WiFi 7 excels in supporting varying bandwidths such as 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz. Using this, the users are not only guaranteed to connect faster. They could upload videos and other files with a more stable connection.
What's more, WiFi 7 offers lower latency that every iPhone user needs if they want to download something online.
With the WiFi 7 allegedly coming to iPhone 16 Pro, you can soon enjoy a whooping 40Gbps. That's a lot for a WiFi speed that you won't see in any handset brand.

iPhone 16 Pro Rumor Hints on its 48MP Ultra Wide Camera
According to another report by Macrumors, Pu also reveals that the 48MP ultra wide-angle camera is also coming to iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The latter is rumored to come out as the refreshed Ultra model.
Pu highlights that the revamped camera setup will help mobile photographers to capture the subject in more vivid lighting.
For reference, the iPhone 14 Pro variants only feature a 12MP ultra shooter. Just imagine what a camera lens four times its capability can do.
While it is too early to conclude that Pu's claims are legit, the official information will still come from Apple. For now, take this with a grain of salt.
Earlier this year, Tech Times reported that the Dynamic Island was set to leave iPhone 16's Under Display Face ID.
If Cupertino is choosing this path for the 2024 iPhone, then it's definitely the end game for the pill notch.
