On-demand insurance platform INSHUR has appointed Chris Wells as President of its fully owned Third-Party Administrator (TPA), Genoteq Claims Investigations.

Following its recent acquisition of American Business Insurance Services inc. (ABI), INSHUR is primed for nationwide expansion. As an industry veteran with over two decades of insurance leadership experience in esteemed companies including Munich Re and GEICO, Wells will play a crucial role in integrating the capabilities of Genoteq and INSHUR to facilitate the company's expansion plans across the United States. His extensive experience and leadership in the insurance industry will be pivotal in enhancing INSHUR and Genoteq's claim capabilities.

Before joining INSHUR, Wells served as the Head of Claim Operations and Consulting at Munich Re, where he led a team of senior managers specializing in TPA oversight, project management, technical audits, and claims strategy for insurtech partners across North America. 

Prior to that, Wells served in several senior leadership roles at GEICO including Director of Claim Systems Innovation and the Head of Regional Planning & Budgeting, where he won four corporate quality awards for innovation in services: Online Auto Damage Scheduling, Digital Claims Correspondence, Streamlined Subrogation, and Automated Dispatch.

Wells earned his bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech and has completed post-graduate professional training programs at MIT and Cornell.
