"Condensation death" is the most common problem that many AirPods Max users encounter. Since the launch of this smart wearable in 2020, it's already a headache to deal with.

All over social media platforms, the condensation issues about these headphones are never-ending. However, Apple lawyers claim that such an issue is non-existent.

Many users are still complaining that the AirPods Max has a "condensation death" problem, but Apple lawyers oppose this.

According to 404 Media's report, Apple's flagship headphones are breaking the internet once again after several complaints from users.

Some people say that their over-ear-headphones won't work because the droplets of water have entered inside. This could potentially bring a big damage to the gadgets.

The publication spotted on an AirPods Max subreddit that most hardware issues came from condensation death. If this happens, the headphones will not play music or it won't connect easily.

Furthermore, other problems associated with condensation issues include losing audio quality, frequent factory resets, and more.

Allegedly, the report says that the headphones usually malfunction during the hottest summers. To avoid such a problem, people are putting a tap in the pinhole so no water will enter inside.

Another piece of advice suggests that AirPods Max users should regularly clean their device to make it usable.

404 Media also points out in the same report that there was a previous class-action lawsuit filed against Apple in California.

Back in 2021, the plaintiffs accused the Cupertino firm that the "latent and material defect causes condensation to accumulate inside the ear cups of the ‌AirPods Max ‌, often after only an hour or several hours of normal use."

Apple Lawyers Dispute Claims About 'Condensation Death'

In another report by TechRadar, Apple's legal team has been opposing the claims from users who said that AirPods Max have condensation issues.

According to the company's lawyers, the condensation just normally happens to headphones. Additionally, they argued that the plaintiff removed some details as to how the problem arose.

Another allegation from the lawyers suggests that condensation frequently takes place when people are using the AirPods Max during exercise. Because of this, there's a chance that the water may damage the internal components of the accessory.

As per Carrie Marshall, a contributor at TechRadar, she has not worn AirPods Max for a long time, but still, she's not surprised that it happens.

"I think that's probably because of Apple's aluminum outers: aluminum looks brilliant but it's not exactly breathable. It's a bit like wrapping your head in kitchen foil," Marshall adds.

MacRumors urged other AirPods Max users to share their stories on the forum so it will be much more visible for those who are experiencing the same problem with their headphones.

If Apple wants to attract more customers to buy its headphones, it should soon issue a potential solution to make up for the recent mess. The issue not becoming a concern to some people doesn't mean it should be ignored.
