Honor has decided to come back to the second-largest smartphone market in the world, India, with the launch of a new product. This comes as the company is launching the Honor 90 after taking a break for three years.

Honor 90 Comes with a 120 Hz Curved OLED Display Along with a 200 MP Primary Camera and 50 MP Front Camera

According to the story by 91 Mobiles, Honor took a break for three years and didn't launch any new models until recently, when it introduced the Honor 90. Although the smartphone isn't considered a flagship, it still comes with premium hardware.

The Honor 90 comes with a 120 Hz curved OLED display along with other significant specs like a 200 MP primary camera. Other inclusions involve a 50 MP front camera as well as support for 66W fast charging.

The Smartphone Costs Around $450 USD to $529.99 Depending on Where It's Bought

The device also comes with a unique and impressive design, and with all the specs, the smartphone has become quite pricey. For the base model, it was noted that this smartphone would cost over $450 USD.

However, the listing on GSM Arena notes that the price of the Honor 90 is $499 on Amazon for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version. The more upgraded version with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage also being sold on Amazon costs $529.99.

The $450 price tag is for the Honor 90 which comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage versions with another more expensive option available. The more premium version upgrades the RAM and storage to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage at a little over $480.

The smartphone also features a 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display while packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. It was also noted that as for its storage, the Honor 90 uses a UFS 3.1 to ensure faster file access.

The Smartphone Comes with Three Back Cameras with One Front Camera

As for its cameras, the smartphone comes with a 200 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide macro lens, a 2 MP depth sensor as well and a 50 MP front camera that can be used for selfies or video calls. The smartphone also comes with the MagicOS 7.1 operating system, which is based on the Android 13 software.

As seen on Statista's 2021 report, India is still considered the world's second-largest smartphone market with a record of 493 million smartphone users. This still lags behind China, which reportedly has 954 million smartphone users.

As seen on the list, the United States is the world's third-largest smartphone market, with just 274 million smartphone users. This means that China is around double the size of India when it comes to smartphone users while India is also almost double the size of the United States in terms of users.
