The Phantom Liberty DLC: Is the Additional Content Worth It?

There were massive praises and remarks for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC expansion, and reviews claimed that what CD Projekt Red promised from its trailers, showcases, and releases were all available here.

The additional content from the DLC is worth buying, especially for fans of the franchise. However, it is important to note that the Phantom Liberty DLC is only available to current-gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X, and the PC.

CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077

The Phantom Liberty DLC expansion was confirmed last year, and it promised significant features that could make the franchise better or send it further down the abyss of disappointment.

While many anticipated and were left hanging for more than eight years since CDPR introduced Cyberpunk 2077 in 2012, its release in late 2020 was frowned upon. It led to massive complaints and a lawsuit amounting to $1.85 million because of its "buggy release," particularly for the consoles.

There were two lifelines made for the original game: one is the beloved Cyberpunk: Edgerunners animated series that aired on Netflix, and now, there is the Phantom Liberty DLC.

Phantom Liberty is a promising game, with CD Projekt Red filling the media with its additional levels and upgrades it is bringing now. However, there are still many gamers expecting it to flop.

The good thing is, it did not, and Phantom Liberty is now delivering what it initially promised to players: a DLC worthy of purchasing for its avid gamers.
