What is the Catch to 'Cyberpunk 2077's' New Expansion?

There is a catch to the "Cyberpunk 2077" Phantom Liberty expansion coming next year, and it will no longer launch for the last-gen consoles including the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. It is because of the original game's buggy and flawed gameplay which most gamers already complained about in the past.

The Edgerunners DLC will be the last for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

More importantly, the Phantom Liberty expansion is the first but not the last expansion to the game's future releases for current gaming consoles.

'Cyberpunk 2077' and its Experience

If "Grand Theft Auto" is set in the future, it would most likely look like "Cyberpunk 2077," which is something that previous speculations and insider information claimed when the game sees no release from the company. However, when it dropped, the title from CD Projekt Red was met with mixed reviews despite many gamers anticipating it since 2012.

The game is currently the most significant title from CD Projekt Red's library despite seeing a somehow flop on its first release, with the game's initial release only available for the old consoles and PC platform. Some gamers still prefer the game from the company despite the review from other critics, with its next-gen console already arriving for the public.

"Cyberpunk 2077" is now preparing for its move towards the game's first expansion, but it would not be available for older consoles including the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

CD Projekt Red is now preparing for the arrival of the game's new expansion that will bring more to the game's experience and story, giving Night City a wider reach including new characters, locations, and a new narrative. The game's expansion will bring more there is to the title, much like modern RPGs present in the industry.
